Steve Manzuik joined Juniper networks in October 2006 as the company's Senior Manager for the Security Research department. Manzuik brings more than 14 years of experience in the Information Technology and Security industries, with a particular emphasis on operating systems and network devices.

Prior to joining Juniper Networks Mr. Manzuik was the Research Manager for eEye Digital Security which has been credited with finding high risk vulnerabilities than any other research organization.

He also previously held the position of Manager and Solution Line Leader for Ernst & Young Canada's Security & Technologies Profiling practice. Manzuik was also a Security Analyst for a world wide group of white hat hackers and security researchers on BindView's RAZOR Team.

Manzuik has co-authored two books: "Hack Proofing Your Network" Second Edition and "Network Security Assessment: From Vulnerability to Patch." In addition, he has spoken at numerous trade conferences, including BlackHat, Defcon, Pacsec, and CERT, and has been quoted in industry publications such as CNET, eWEEK, Network World and CRN. As the founder and moderator of VulnWatch (www.vulnwatch.org) and a member of the various other open-source security projects, Manzuik has contributed to multiple research efforts both in the public and private sectors that have helped increase the security of many products.
