James Yeh has been in the networking industry for the past 15 years. Prior to joining TippingPoint, the new security division of 3Com, James Yeh served as the country manager for F5 Networks and has been responsible for the territories of Taiwan and E. PRC since 2001. He grew the F5 business in Taiwan from 500K to a 3.2M business and won the top sales awards for 2 consecutive years. During his F5 career, he out-competed Nortel, Foundry, Cisco and Radware to snatch the #1 L4-L7 market share leadership position since 2003.

Previously, James Yeh worked for Cisco on the core development team for IOS version 10, until he came back to Asia Pacific in 1998 as the senior network architect to help Cisco penetrate into its highly competitive market within Hi-Tech Manufacturing and Service Provider in the Asia Pacific region. He helped Cisco win all the 8” wafer manufacturing plants in Taiwan in 1999 and worked to close the largest core-router deals in Chung-Hwa Telecom, Korean Telecom, Singtel and China Telecom in 2000. James also has extensive experience with 3Com and Bay Networks as a software development engineer.

James Yeh holds a BS from UCLA and MSEE from San Jose State Univ.
